Value Engineer

Addison HVAC, LLC, Orlando, Florida seeks Value Engineer.

Planning and coordinating activities between engineering, production, and sales departments to develop and supply standardized design criteria and production requirements specifically as it relates to design, instrumentation calibration and data acquisition and analysis for new development and testing of new products. Initiating and providing technical direction for 4 research and development engineers to increase product value for the air handler units specifically as it relates to Project leadership and ability to lead and manage others. Enhancing production methods, improving parts and equipment technology, and reducing costs specifically as it relates to Management of all aspects of Prodcut Data (PDM) and Product Lifecycle to achieve full-market viability and also Cost control in order to manage project finances intelligently and deliver results within the cost constrains. Establishing and maintaining a network of vendors to achieve cost reduction specifically as it relates to Project leadership and Cost control in order to manage project finances intelligently and deliver results within the cost constrains. Optimizing the manufacturing processes and implementing of make/buy decision to outsource manufacturing of products for cost reduction, specifically as it relates to Cost control in order to manage project finances intelligently and deliver results within the cost constrains. Facilitating cross-functional teams including Research and Development, manufacturing, finance, and procurement to achieve targets specifically as it relates to Management of all aspects of Product Data (PDM) and Product Lifecycle to achieve full-market viability, Project leadership and ability to lead and manage others, and also Cost control in order to manage project finances intelligently and deliver results within the cost constrains

Requires Bachelor's (or educ. equiv.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and five (5) yrs. (post-degree, progressive) experience in Job Offered or Research occupation. Alternatively, will accept Master's (or educ. equiv.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and three (3) yrs. experience in Job Offered or Research occupation. Experience must have included Expertise in experimental system design, instrumentation calibration and data acquisition, and analysis for the development and testing of new products; Management of all aspects of Product Data (PDM) and Product Lifecycle (PLM) to achieve full-market viability; Project leadership and ability to lead and manage others; and Cost control in order to manage project finances intelligently and deliver results within the cost constrains.
