Parent Company, Roberts Gordon Hires New CEO

Charles M. Brown was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Roberts-Gordon LLC, an international manufacturer of specialty commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment, as well as industrial process and finishing equipment headquartered in Buffalo, New York, USA.

 

                For the past seven years, Mr. Brown was Chief Executive Officer at Flow International, Corp., a leader in the development and manufacture of ultra high pressure water jet technology for automotive, aerospace, job shop, surface preparation and other applications. He has also held leadership positions at Pentair, Inc.,Masco Corporation, Black & Decker Corporation and Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Brown's leadership experience covers over twenty different operating businesses and more than twenty four worldwide factories with various industrial and consumer products.

 

                Mr. Brown received a Bachelor of Arts, Economics and Government, from Cornell University, and a Master of Business Administration from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. In addition, he is on the Board of Directors of Synthesis Energy Systems, Inc., a Houston-based technology company focused on bringing clean high-value energy to developing countries. Mr. Brown is also on the Board of Directors of Waterjet Holdings Inc., which includes Flow International, Corp. Acquired by Sterling Group Partners III, L.P. in July 2014, Roberts-Gordon LLC includes Addison in Orlando, Florida; Rapid Engineering LLC in Comstock Park, Michigan andWeather-Rite LLC in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company also includes UK-based Roberts-Gordon Europe Limited and Process Combustion Limited. Sterling Group Partners III, L.P. is the affiliated investment fund of The Sterling Group, a middle market private equity firm based in Houston, Texas.
